Collection: colorscape

Here's a sneak peek into a completely new collection, a stylish blend of photography and graphic design created by Amy J. Schultz. As the collection evolves over time, you'll see three visual influences within each piece: curvature (elements of the natural world), colors (reflecting the personality of culture), and shape (representing the built environment).

Creating each piece is a process. First, Amy begins with somewhere she loves. She photographs natural elements that are evocative of that time and place and memories. Through careful digital manipulation by hand, she then boils the subject matter down into its essential silhouette or graphic representation. Finally, she introduces colors and shapes reflective of the culture and place.
